چکیده

The inhibitors may potentially be used for multiple therapeutic application in viral, bacterial, fungal disease and physiological disorder. In traditional Indian medicine system cassia tora is reportedly effective in treatment of skin and gastrointestinal disorder. The present work describe the isolation extraction purification characterization of trypsin inhibitor from cassia tora seeds. Purification of cassia torra seeds were done by ammonium sulphate precipitation and dialysis. Assay of trypsin inhibitors was performed by caseinolytic method and protein was estimated by Folin Lowry method. Keyword: Cassia tora, ammonium sulphate, trypsin

identified hyperglycemia as the main risk-factor for the development of complications. Persistent hyperglycemia induces abnormal changes such as the formation of advanced glycation end products (AGEs), the increase of sorbitol through the polyol pathway, the overactivation of protein kinase C isoforms due to the synthesis of diacylglycerol (DAG). Direct evidence indicating the contribution of A...

Cassia tora against dermatophytes of infected soil

Fungal activity of the essential oil extracted from Cassia tora (Fabaceae) was studied against dermatophytic fungi like Microsporum gypseum. Study of dermatophytes in soil samples collected from Jaipur, was carried out but only 88% samples contained dermatophytic fungi. In screening of the essential oil of Cassia tora the diameter of inhibition zone was found to be 19 mm for Microsporum gypseum...

Germination Behavior of Cassia Tora Seeds in Various Pre-sowing Treatment Methods

Cassia tora seeds, like those of many leguminous species, have hard and impermeable coats. Germination is thought to be enhanced when seeds are scarified or soaked in concentrated sulfuric acid or hot water. This experiment shows the effect of various presown treatments on C. tora with respect to its germination behavior. Germination percentages were significantly affected by different pretreat...
